Yes. Our 4x4 vehicles are ideal for self-drive safaris to Hwange National Park, Matobo Hills, and the Zambezi Valley. We provide a pre-departure route briefing.

Can I take the vehicle across the border to Zambia or Botswana? +

Yes. Cross-border permits are available on request for selected vehicles. Please advise us at booking — permits must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance. Additional fees apply.

What is the minimum age to hire a car with Mukanya Car Rental? +

Yes. Our airport transfer service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We monitor flight arrivals and adjust pickup times at no extra charge.

How far is Victoria Falls Airport from the town centre? +

Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) is approximately 22 km from Victoria Falls town, a journey of about 20–25 minutes by road.

Do you provide child seats for family vehicle hire? +

Yes. Child seats are available on request. Please advise us when booking.

What happens if I have a breakdown? +
